Rumoured character breakdowns may reveal new characters for Jessica Jones season 2

April 13, 2017 by Amie Cranswick

With filming now underway, MCU Exchange has revealed four character breakdowns for potential new characters in the second series of Netflix’s hit Marvel TV series Jessica Jones, which reportedly come by way of a casting call for the new season:

[DR. KIRBY] 60s, male, open ethnicity, scientist & freethinker SERIES REGULAR – ONE YEAR DEAL

[PRESLEY] Late 30s, Male, African American, intelligent, driven, self-assured FRACTIONAL SERIES REGULAR

[OLIVER] 34-38, male, Latino, artistic, paternal, smart, scruffy and hip SERIES REGULAR

[INGRID] Early-mid 30s, 5’8 – 5’11, female, dark hair, attractive and edgy, has a history of living on the streets. Educated as a nurse, but street-wise. She is attracted to men and women…SERIES REGULAR

The site has speculated that the roles in question could be those of Dr. Karl Malus (Dr. Kirby), Paladin/Paul Denning (Presley), Otis Johnson (Oliver), Ian Soo or Typhoid Mary (Ingrid), but of course – if genuine – these could also be completely new additions rather than existing comic book characters.
