Chris Pratt says that Cowboy Ninja Viking is still happening

April 27, 2017 by Samuel Brace

With all eyes towards his latest endeavour, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 – a movie that should only serve to elevate the actor’s profile higher still – Pratt has mentioned that another project he is attached to – Cowboy Ninja Viking – is still on the cards.

Cowboy tells the story of Duncan, who is a member of a counter intelligence unit made up of patients afflicted with multiple personality disorders.

Attached to the project since 2014, Pratt discussed the film during an interview with Collider, providing us with an update on its current status.

“It’s still in development. It’s definitely no joke. We’ve got a deal and we’re moving forward. It’s going to be [with] Universal. It’s going to be really, really fantastic … We don’t have a director. It’s together, it’s being put together. But we’re in the process of talking to directors.”

It certainly sounds like a project that should suit Pratt well, and will be another opportunity for him to shine outside of the role of Star-Lord, which he has now become so well known for.
