Is Baby Driver’s Eiza Gonzalez teasing a role as Catwoman in the DCEU?

June 29, 2017 by Jordan Jones

The age of actors teasing themselves as superheroes on social media is officially in full-swing, ladies and gentleman.  We saw it with Rhonda Rousey and Captain Marvel, Josh Gad and The Penguin, and now actress Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver) is posting pictures to social media in what looks to be a body-suit very reminiscent of a certain well-known jewel thief whom we know is expected to debut in the upcoming Gotham City Sirens alongside Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, and an as-of-yet uncast Poison Ivy.

Below is a photo posted to the DC_Cinematic subreddit page:

While there is really no concrete proof here that she is teasing Catwoman at all, various Reddit users have pointed out that she has posted a photo of a box of DC comic books recently, has been talking about visits to Warner Bros. Studios, and lastly people are pointing out that she is friends with head of DC Films Geoff Johns via social media.

Again: nothing concrete here. However, the post is really strange on its own, and she does refer to the bodysuit as a “uniform”. The sleuths over at Reddit have been right on many occasion, and in the age of social media self-marketing, this turning out to be a Selina Kyle/Catwoman tease is not out of the question.
