Back in May it was announced that the Hellboy movie franchise is set for a reboot, under the title of Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen.
Well, according to IGN, it is now being reported that the film has dropped the Rise of the Blood Queen subtitle, and will just be going by the name Hellboy (for the time being, at least).
Neil Marshall (Dog Soldiers, Game of Thrones) is set to direct the new film, which will star David Harbour (Stranger Things) as Hellboy and Ian McShane (American Gods) as Professor Broom.

Hellboy is set to deliver a “darker tone” than the previous Guillermo del Toro movies, and is aiming for an R-rating. It is slated to begin production later this year.
