Try Prey before you buy with free trial

August 16, 2017 by Calum Petrie

If you missed out on the release of Prey earlier this year then rejoice as fate has given you a second chance, this time at no extra cost. Bethesda have announced that a free trial of Prey is available today, August 16th, for PC and consoles.

The length of the free trial is a bit unclear, although any progress made will be saved if you wish to later purchase and carry on with the full game. This is a simple yet clever feature as one of a gamers pet hates can be replaying sections you have already finished.

If you were on the fence before about purchasing this critically acclaimed game, now is the time for a no risk trial to make up your mind with.

When you awaken aboard the Talos I space station, you that find you are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong. Talos I has been overrun by an alien force, and you must stop the Typhon threat from destroying humanity. As Morgan Yu, and mankind’s last hope, fend off the alien infestation armed with the tools found on the station, your wits, weapons, and mind-bending abilities. It’s up to you to uncover the mysteries of Talos I and safeguard the world from the Typhon threat.
