Keira Knightley has signed on to star in an as-yet-untitled spy drama from screenwriter Camilla Blackett (Newsroom, New Girl), Variety has revealed.
Plot details for the as-yet-untitled project are being kept under wraps, and a director is yet to become attached. The film is however being produced by K Period Media, the production company behind Manchester By the Sea, with Knightley set to production alongside Nora Grossman and Ido Ostrowsky (The Imitation Game) and Kimberly Steward and Josh Godfrey of K Period Media.
The Oscar-nominated Knightley has several projects in the pipeline, including dramas The Aftermath and Colette, and Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
