DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 Episode 3 Review – ‘Zari’

October 27, 2017 by Jessie Robertson

Jessie Robertson reviews the third episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season 3…

Another hilarious week as we see a new team member join the Legends (I think?), and Sara get her ass kicked for the first time ever.

Legends continues to soar as we get more of the very honest relationship between Nate and Amaya and while Amaya’s naivete wears off from last season, she is still very much a stand up character and the timelines and how they affect her family lineage very much push and pull her actions as the series progresses; glad to see she’s sticking around.

Zari, our new character, is very much tied to Amaya with the amulet-totem she wears and seems to have found a connection to Rory, who has finally found his role; he doesn’t need long drawn out speeches; one liners and doing his own thing, that’s all he should ever do and he’s killing it so far.  Feels like our two halves of Firestorm are taking a back seat this season but with the recent news that Victor Garber will be leaving the show I expect that to ramp up in the coming weeks,

This episode didn’t have a lot of meat to it, just following Zari and her weird time stalker, the Lady in the Lake as I called her.   Rory’s quick mention of Prison Break was another fun moment and the Legends continue to entertain and be exactly the kind of show they should be.

Rating: 8.5/10
