Mark Hamill and Ron Perlman join Transformers: Prime Wars Trilogy

Hasbro and Machinma have announced that Mark Hamill (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) and Ron Perlman (Hellboy) have joined the cast of the Transformers: Prime Wars Trilogy animated series.

Hamill made his debut as Megatronus in the season finale of Transformers: Titans Return. One of the Thirteen Original Primes, Megatronus was exiled from Cybertron after murdering one of the other Thirteen, Solus Prime, effectively becoming the first Decepticon.

Hamill’s Megatronus will be joined in the final chapter, Transformers: Power of the Primes, by Ron Perlman as Optomis Primal. Other new additiosn to the cast include Jaime King, Gregg Berger, Jaime King and WWE Superstar Samoa Joe, while returning voice actors include Wil Wheaton, Judd Nelson and Kari Wahlgren.

Transformers: Power of the Primes is slated to premiere in the second quarter of the year.
