5 Villains Who Should Be Introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe

September 23, 2014 by Thomas Roach

Thomas Roach with 5 villains who should be introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe…

Villains can sometimes be as interesting and compelling as the heroes of their respective films. Marvel Studios has already given us a fair few villains in its Cinematic Universe but there are still many who we want to see introduced. In time, some of the bad guys will likely appear with the introduction of new heroes, whereas some may be appear as antagonists in upcoming sequels. Here are 5 villains who should be introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe…

M.O.D.O.K.

M.O.D.O.K. was created by A.I.M, who were introduced in Iron Man 3. This may in fact have been a teaser in order to eventually introduce fans to M.O.D.O.K. – the Mobile Organism Designed Only for Killing. M.O.D.O.K. is super intelligent and psionic abilities. In the comics he is most notable for being an enemy of Captain America and S.H.I.E.L.D. but he has also battled the Avengers. He may in fact feature as the villain for Captain America 3 moving away rom Hydra as the antagonist. M.O.D.O.K. may scare some people as they think he looks rather daft, having a giant head. Nevertheless, he would make for a very different villain and it would be good to see him appear in a live-action movie at some point.

Klaw

Klaw was first introduced in a Fantastic Four storyline but went on to become one of Black Panther’s main adversaries after attempting to obtain Vibranium from Wakanda. After losing his hand, Klaw has a prosthetic sonic gun attached to his arm and possesses super human strength and agility. A Black Panther movie is yet to be officially announced but Stan Lee has revealed they are talking about it and Kevin Feige has also admitted that he wants to do a Black Panther movie in the future. Black Panther could hit our screens as early as 2017 and Klaw will be a likely choice for the villain.

Enchantress

There are not that many female villains but Enchantress would certainly be a good choice for the villain for another Thor movie. Enchantress is an Asgardian who possess superhuman strength, agility, stamina, healing factor and mystic abilities like mind control, teleportation and illusions. Many people expect Loki to return as a villain after the events of Thor: The Dark World but there is no reason that Loki could not work with Enchantress. Some fans have lashed out at the lack of female characters so having Enchantress as a lead villain could certainly get the ball rolling for other female characters in the MCU. Enchantress would make a great villain for Thor 3, which is rumoured to fill one of the many slots that Marvel has announced for their movies over the next few years.
