With filming on Warner Bros.’ latest DC Extended Universe blockbuster Shazam! now underway, a set photo has surfaced online which gives us our first glimpse of Zachary Levi (Thor: The Dark World) in costume as Billy Batson’s adult superhero alter-ego.

It’s difficult to really judge the costume based on the above photo, but as revealed by director David F. Sandberg earlier this month, there are definite similarities to the Justice League: War costume, particularly around the hood and cape (unless Shazam is cosplaying as A New Hope Princess Leia?!).

Shazam will see Zachary Levi starring as the titular superhero, with Asher Angel as his young alter-ego Billy Batson, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, Ian Chen as Eugene Choi, Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña, Grace Fulton as Mary Marvel, Cooper Andrews as Victor Vasquez, Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley, Mark Strong as Dr. Thaddeus Sivana and Ron Cephas Jones as the Wizard. The film is set for release on April 5th 2019.
