Léa Seydoux joins Bond 24 as femme fatale

October 10, 2014 by Chris Cooper

There hasn’t been too much news about the next Bond film. All we really know is that the winning combination of Daniel Craig and Sam Mendes will be returning for the character’s 24th official outing, which was hardly surprising considering the staggering critical and financial success of Skyfall.

The Daily Mail however may have the first casting news, with the newspaper reporting that French actress Lea Seydoux will be joining the cast, possibly as one of the film’s ‘Bond Girls’.

Alongside many French-language films, Seydoux has appeared Blue Is The Warmest Colour, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and Inglourious Basterds.

To save you from the Daily Mail website (you can follow this link if you must), here’s an excerpt containing the main thrust of the article:

“The Paris-based star will meet fellow cast members, led by Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris, for a script rehearsal in late November. Before then, she will undergo a series of costume, make-up and camera tests so that director Sam Mendes and the film’s producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson can determine her ‘look’.”

Bond 24 opens on October 23rd 2015 in the UK and November 6th 2015 in the States.
