Cartoon Network to air LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Batman Be-Leaguered, watch the first clip

October 16, 2014 by Gary Collinson

If you can’t wait to see Batman in brick form before 2017’s The Lego Movie spin-off, then you’re in luck as The Dark Knight is set to take centre stage in DC Enetrtainment and Cartoon Network’s upcoming special LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Batman Be-Leaguered, which will air later this month. Check out the official synopsis and the first clip below…

Batman prides himself on being a loner, a totally self-sufficient one-man-band. Just ask anyone; Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing, Alfred… anyone. So, he is understandably irritated when his nightly cleanup of Gotham City villains is interrupted by Superman, who pesters Batman to join his new superhero team, The Justice League. After Batman makes it quite clear to the Man of Steel that his invitation has been declined, Superman flies off disappointed… whereupon he is overcome with a strange energy and vanishes!

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Batman Be-Leaguered will air on Cartoon Network on October 27th.
