As per Latino Review, it would seem that Wally Pfister is further bolstering his already impressive cast for his directorial debut, Transcendence.
Possibly taking a cue from his work colleague Christopher Nolan, one of the main male roles has now been filled by Cillian Murphy, who both Pfister and Nolan worked with on The Dark Knight trilogy and Inception.
There are very few details so far, but rumours are that the story concerns a scientist whose brain gets uploaded into a supercomputer. Is Pfister taking his cue from Nolan here too?
Also starring Morgan Freeman (The Dark Knight Rises), Rebecca Hall (Iron Man 3), Paul Bettany (The Da Vinci Code) and Kate Mara (House of Cards), Transcendence is due out April 25th, 2014.
