After shutting down production following the death of leading man Paul Walker late last year, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that filming on Fast & Furious 7 will resume this April for a six-to-eight week shoot. Screenwriter Chris Morgan has retooled the script and it’s expected that Walker’s character will be “retired”, as opposed to being killed off.
Fast & Furious 7 is being directed by James Wan (The Conjuring) and stars franchise veterans Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Lucas Black alongside Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy), Tony Jaa (Ong Bak), Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones) and Ronda Rousey (The Expendables 3). It is set for release on April 10th, 2015.
