Terry Pratchett’s final Discworld novel The Shepherd’s Crown to be published in September

Following the sad passing of the beloved British author Terry Pratchett last month, publishers Penguin Random House has announced that the final Discworld novel The Shepherd’s Crown is set to hit shelves this September.

“It is a huge privilege to be publishing Sir Terry Pratchett’s final Discworld novel, The Shepherd’s Crown.,” said Penguin Random House CEO Tom Weldon. “Terry’s writing is loved and respected the world over and this publication will be an incredibly important and special event for us all at Penguin Random House, and for fans and readers everywhere.”

The Shepherd’s Crown is the 41st Discworld novel, and the fifth to feature Tiffany Aching after The Wee Free Men, A Hat Full of Sky, Wintersmith and I Shall Wear Midnight.

The Shepherd’s Crown is released on September 10th.
