A 2024 release for Coyote Vs. Acme teased with first-look image

January 1, 2024 by EJ Moreno

We could be nearing the release of Coyote Vs. Acme, the canned Looney Tunes movie from Warner Bros. Discovery.

After the movie was written off, literally looked at as a tax write-off by the studio, WBD allowed the film to be shopped around to potential buyers.

The future is looking brighter for Coyote Vs. Acme as we now have a new image of the film from voice actor Eric Bauza.

Shared on social media, we see Will Forte as the attorney to Wile E. Coyote in his attempt to sue the ACME Corporation.

Check out the social media teaser below…

The cast includes Will Forte (MacGruber), John Cena (Peacemaker), and Lana Candor (To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before), with Forte as Coyote’s lawyer and Cena as ACME’s former boss. David Green (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows) directed the film, with a script by Samy Brunch, Jeremy Slater, and James Gunn.

The official logline said the film would follow “Wile E. Coyote, who after ACME products fail him one too many times in his dogged pursuit of the Roadrunner, decides to hire a billboard lawyer to sue the ACME Corporation. The case pits Wile E. and his lawyer (Forte) against the latter’s intimidating former boss (Cena), but a growing friendship between man and cartoon stokes their determination to win.”
