A reckoning is coming in trailer for Violent Ends starring Billy Magnussen, James Badge Dale and Alexandra Shipp

IFC Films has released a poster and trailer for writer-director John-Michael Powell’s upcoming crime thriller Violent Ends.

Billy Magnussen stars as Lucas, a man trying to live a peaceful life with his fiancée away from his family of criminals until he’s unwillingly pulled back into the family business after his cousin commits a crime with brutal consequences.

Joining Magnussen in the cast are James Badge Dale, Alexandra Shipp, Kate Burton, Ray McKinnon, and Nick Stahl. Watch the trailer below…

Set in the Ozark Mountains, Lucas Frost (Magnussen) is an honest man brought up in a crime family whose only legacy is violence. As Lucas tries to make a peaceful life of his own with his fiancée, Emma (Shipp), he is suddenly pulled back into the family business when his cousin, Eli, perpetrates an armed robbery with brutal consequences.

Violent Ends arrives in cinemas on October 31st.
