DC’s hugely successful Absolute Universe is getting the Pop! Vinyl treatment, with Funko officially announcing it is bringing Absolute Batman, Absolute Superman and Absolute Wonder Woman to San Diego Comic-Con in July with three convention exclusive figures.
Limited to just 1000 per figure and priced at $40 apiece, the sure-to-sell-out figures will be available to attendees at SDCC, which runs from Thursday July 23rd through to Sunday July 26th; check out the official promotional images here…
Launching in 2024 and overseen by acclaimed writer Scott Snyder, the Absolute Universe is an all-new continuity in the DC Multiverse, taking place on Earth-Alpha, a darker, grittier reality forged from Darkseid’s essence, where superheroes operate as outlaws and underdogs. The imprint has expanded rapidly over the past two years amid soaring sales across its various titles, and just this past week it was announced that the Absolute Universe is set to expand beyond the page with an Absolute Batman animated series in development from DC Studios.
