Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz argue business in new clip from Ferrari

December 20, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

With less than a week to go until its Christmas Day release, Neon has shared a new clip from the upcoming Ferrari biopic which sees Enzo (Adam Driver) and his wife Laura (Penelope Cruz) argue about business and finances over dinner; watch it below…

“It is the summer of 1957. Behind the spectacle of Formula 1, ex-racer Enzo Ferrari is in crisis. Bankruptcy threatens the factory he and his wife, Laura built from nothing ten years earlier. Their volatile marriage has been battered by the loss of their son, Dino a year earlier. Ferrari struggles to acknowledge his son Piero with Lina Lardi. Meanwhile, his drivers’ passion to win pushes them to the edge as they launch into the treacherous 1,000-mile race across Italy, the Mille Miglia.”

Featuring in the cast of Ferrari are Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari, Penelope Cruz as his wife Laura Ferrari, Shailene Woodley as his mistress Lina Lardi, Patrick Dempsey as fellow driver Piero Taruffi, Jack O’Connell as racer Peter Collins, Sarah Gadon as Linda Christian, and Gabriel Leone as driver Alfonso de Portago.

Ferrari screeches into theatres on December 25th.
