Warner Bros. and Legendary’s upcoming monster mash-up Godzilla Vs. Kong has just found another cast member. According to Deadline, True Blood and Big Little Lies veteran Alexander Skarsgård will appear in the anticipated monster movie in the MonsterVerse cinematic franchise.
Adam Wingard (The Guest, Blair Witch) is directing Godzilla vs. Kong, the fourth instalment in Legendary’s MonsterVerse after Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island and the upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
Skarsgård joins a cast that includes Millie Bobby Brown (Godzilla: King of the Monsters), Kyle Chandler (Bloodline), Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2), Ziyi Zhang (The Cloverfield Paradox), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta) and Demián Bichir (The Nun). The Walking Dead and Black Panther star Danai Gurira is also rumoured to appear.

Godzilla vs. Kong is set for release on May 22nd 2020, while Godzilla: King of the Monsters will open on May 31st 2019.
