Alone in the Dark trailer teases us with the horror that is the Dark Man

August 2, 2023 by Andrew Newton

THQ Nordic and developer Pieces Interactive have released a brand new teaser trailer for the upcoming re-imagining of the classic survival horror game, Alone in the Dark.  This latest teaser reveals a little more of the horror that players will face, the Dark Man.  Meet this mysterious figure in the trailer below…

Alone in the Dark takes players back to one of the southern states of the US in the 1920s where they will set out on a journey that will bring them face to face with terrifying monsters, strange asylum residents, supernatural creatures and nightmarish realms  There are cleverly designed puzzles needing to be solved in order to uncover the secrets surrounding the Derceto Manor, a home for the mentally ill.

In this psychological horror, players will take the role of either Emily Hartwood or private investigator Edward Carnby and set out to uncover the strange mystery surrounding the disappearance of Emily’s uncle at the Derceto Manor.  An asylum where something evil is hiding in the shadows, bringing terror and danger.

At this intersection between reality, insanity and evil, players will question who they can trust and what they believe.

Alone in the Dark will arrive on Xbox Series S/X, Playstation 5 and PC on 25th October.
