Apocalypse Cow now live on Square Enix Collective, watch the gameplay trailer here

October 17, 2017 by Andrew Newton

For those who don’t know about the Square Enix Collective it is a platform for developers to gain support for their projects, one such project is Apocalypse Cow from developer Monsters.  Apocalypse Cow is a story driven action platformer currently available to vote for that takes players on an adventure across a world that has changed for the worse.  The new gameplay trailer can be seen below…

In Apocalypse Cow players take the role of Penny, a young Gamewalker with the ability to freeze time, who travels to Candy World, a land once filled with happiness but has been corrupted and filled with deadly denizens.  Penny must travel this world to find her friend’s giant robotic cow and use her time freezing ability to survive the bullets, rockets and lasers that the enemy will throw at her.  As well as her unique abililty, Penny will also have access to a range of weaponry including katanas, assault rifles and even the mighty Thor’s hammer.

Gamers who fancy embarking on the adventure with a friend can do so in local co-op but be careful with the weaponry as it is possible to kill each other.

There will be two levels of difficulty for players to enjoy; a hardcore mode that will provide a true test of skill and a much easier ‘Granny’ Mode.

If you like what you see then visit Square Enix Collective and give Apocalypse Cow your vote.
