Apple TV has set a fall premiere date for its upcoming thriller drama Nocturne, which stars Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz and Stephen Graham.

Premiering on October 30th, Nocturne follows Jonah Lynn (Schreiber), an ex-soldier turned homicide detective who, tired of working the tough streets of Philadelphia, moves to a small town in Western Pennsylvania for a quiet life. But as the town and his family come under attack from the diabolically cunning serial killer Jurek Walter (Graham), Jonah must protect all that he holds dear. When the desperate search for Jurek’s last missing victim forces Jonah to send his surrogate daughter, FBI Agent Saga Bauer (Beetz), up against Jurek, how far will Jonah go?
The 10-episode series will also feature Bill Camp (Presumed Innocent), Rory Culkin (Under The Banner of Heaven), Chrissy Metz (This Is Us), Poorna Jagannathan (Never Have I Ever) and Gary Carr (21 Bridges).
Nocturne is based on the books Lazarus and The Sandman by Lars Kepler, a pseudonym for writers Alexandra Coelho Ahndoril and Alexander Ahndoril. Rowan Joffe and John Hlavin developed the series and serve as showrunners, writers and executive producers with Tim Van Patten (Masters of the Air) having directed the first two episodes and executive producing. Schreiber and Beetz will also produce and executive produce respectively. The Ahndorils will also executive produce alongside Øystein Karlsen, David Rysdahl, Dorothy Fortenberry, and Niclas Salomonsson.
