Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom adds Randall Park, Indya Moore, Jani Zhao and Vincent Regan

September 25, 2021 by Gary Collinson

As filming on Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom continues, THR has revealed that WandaVision star Randall Park has signed on to reprise his role as Dr. Stephen Shin from the 2018 original, while the sequel has also added three DCEU newcomers in Indya Moore (Queen & Slim), Vincent Regan (300) and Jani Zhao (South).

As revealed by the trade, Moore will portray the DC villain Karshon, who in the comic books is a shark who gains intelligence and telepathic powers after being hit with radiation. Regan is Atlan, the ancient ruler of Atlantis responsible for its sinking into the sea, while Zhao is portraying Stingray, an original character created for the movie who may or may not be a villain.

Aquaman and the Last Kingdom is being directed by James Wan, and is scheduled for release on December 16th 2022.
