Backrooms Level X sets Steam release with new trailer

Firenut Games and developer José Manuel Conesa Hernández’ survival horror Backrooms Level X will launch on Steam for PC on 29th May. This chilling first-person horror experience will take players through the endless labyrinth of the Backrooms, a place beyond reality and logic.  Watch the new trailer below celebrating the upcoming release…

Back in 1986, a strange incident occurred in Albuquerque, New Mexico that was recorded on a VHS cassette and then lost, until now. After coming into possession of this cassette tape and putting it in the VCR, the player suddenly finds themselves in the surreal and desolate labyrinth of corridors and rooms, where reality frays at the edges.

Players will explore endless corridors of empty yellow carpeted rooms, eerie corridors and areas of flickering light. But something is hiding in the shadows, something watching and waiting. Make sure to find the exit to this desolate place outside of reality before whatever mysterious entity gets you.

Backrooms Level X features:

  • A gripping story through a mysterious and surreal environment.
  • An oppressive soundscape that helps create tension and dread.
  • Brain-teasing challenges to solve.
  • More than 13 eerie levels to complete with an evolving threat.
  • Outsmart and escape monstrous creatures.

Look out for Backrooms Level X coming to Steam for PC on 29th May. The game will also be arriving on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch soon after.
