In addition to battling each other, The World’s Finest saw themselves taking on Lex Luthor, Doomsday and KGBeast in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and it seems we could have had another classic Superman adversary in the movie.
Via Batman-News, some concept art from illustrator Rob McKinnon has arrived online showing a design for the kryptonite-powered cyborg Metallo:
You may recall that way back in 2013, a rumour emerged claiming that Metallo would be the main antagonist in Batman v Superman, and as the above concept art shows, he was certainly considered at one point or another.
