Better Call Saul’s Bob Odenkirk joins Greta Gerwig’s Little Women

September 26, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk has become the latest addition to Little Women, the upcoming Louisa May Alcott adaptation from director Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird).

Odenkirk joins a star-studded cast that includes Meryl Streep (The Post), Emma Stone (La La Land), Laura Dern (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Florence Pugh (Lady Macbeth), Eliza Scanlen (Sharp Objects) and James Norton (McMafia) and Lady Bird stars Saoirse Ronan and Timothee Chalamet.

Originally published in 1868, Little Women follows the four teenage March sisters Amy, Jo, Beth and Meg and their mother Marmee as they navigate life in Civil War-era Massachusetts while their father is acting as a pastor in the war.

Odenkirk can currently be seen in the fourth season of the Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul, and recently signed on to star in the action thriller Nobody from John Wick writer Derek Kolstad and Hardcore Henry director Ilya Naishuller.
