July 23, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Dark Star Pictures has released a trailer for The Becomers, the upcoming sci-fi comedy from writer-director Zach Clark (Little Sister).

The film centres on two extra-terrestrial lovers as they land on Earth separately after fleeing their dying planet, and body-snatch their way across America in an attempt to find each other. Watch the trailer below…

Forced to flee their dying planet, two body-snatching alien lovers arrive separately on Earth. Determined to find each other, the aliens jump from body to body, but they quickly learn that it’s not easy to inhabit their new, fleshy hosts, and that life in modern-day America is more complicated than they could have ever imagined.

The cast includes Russell Mael, Molly Plunk, Isabel Alamin, Keith Kelly, and Mike Lopez.

The Becomers arrives in select cinemas on August 23rd, followed by a digital release on September 24th.
