Brie Larson wants to direct a Marvel Studios movie

September 23, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Having recently expressed how impressed she has been working with Marvel Studios on the upcoming Captain Marvel movie (and Avengers 4, which she is confirmed to have started shooting), Oscar-winner Brie Larson has now revealed her ambition to get behind the camera and direct a Marvel movie.

“Oh yeah, that’s my plan,” said Larson when asked by The Huffington Post if she could see herself directing a Marvel movie. “Why not? My new life philosophy is I’m not going to tell myself no. I’m just going to do stuff until someone else tells me no.”

In addition to shooting Avengers 4, Larson is currently out promoting her feature directorial debut Unicorn Store, where she stars alongside MCU veteran and her Kong: Skull Island co-star Samuel L. Jackson.
