Bruce Willis to star in revenge thriller Soul Assassin

May 1, 2021 by Ricky Church

Deadline reports that action star Bruce Willis will lead the thriller Soul Assassin from director Jesse Atlas in his feature debut.

Soul Assassin looks to be a revenge thriller as “a woman’s husband is killed in action as part of an experimental new military program. A former black-ops soldier then takes his place to find his killer.” Nomzamo Mbatha (Coming 2 America) and Dominic Purcell (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) are also in talks to star alongside Willis.

Soul Assassin is based off Atlas and writer Aaron Wolfe’s short film Let Them Die Like Lovers, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was nominated Best Narrative Short. Atlas and Wolfe have co-written the feature-length script with Atlas directing. Producing the film is Brickell & Broadbridge International and Endless Media.

Soul Assassin will begin production in early June.
