Cedric Nicolas-Troyan to direct graphic novel adaptation Naja

November 9, 2016 by Gary Collinson

The Huntsman: Winter’s War director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan is set to helm an adaptation of Jean-David Morvan and Bengal’s acclaimed graphic novel Naja for Thunder Road Pictures, Entertainment 360 and Nickel City Productions.

Scripted by J.P. Davis (The Neighbor), Naja “centers on a beautiful assassin, who is all the more deadly because she is unable to register pain. Her mercenary ways get upended after she finds herself targeted by contract killers.”

According to the site, the project is said to be in the vein of the likes of Lucy, Le Femme Nikita and John Wick.
