Claire Foy talks Lisbeth Salander at The Girl in the Spider’s Web photocall

Sony Pictures Entertainment have rounded up the cast of The Girl in the Spider’s Web for a Stockholm photocall, the video of which you can watch below…

The movie, based upon David Lagercrantz’s bestselling Millennium novel (the first not to be penned by Stieg Larsson), is being directed by Fede Alvarez (Don’t Breathe) from a script by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders). It sees The Crown’s Claire Foy taking on the role of Lisbeth Salander, with Sverrir Gudnason (Borg/McEnroe) portraying Mikael Blomkvist.

Also featuring in the cast of The Girl in the Spider’s Web are Sylvia Hoeks (Blade Runner 2049), Claes Bang (The Square), Cameron Britton (Mindhunter), Stephen Merchant (Logan) and Synnøve Macody Lund (Headhunters). Filming is underway now ahead of a release on October 19th 2018.
