Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival developer diary talks to the man behind Pinhead

March 12, 2026 by Andrew Newton

A developer diary for the upcoming survival-horror action game Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival has been released today, featuring Doug Bradley, the man who played the iconic Pinhead. Boss Team Games’ latest video explores how the development team is using elements from the films to bring the game to life on screen.  This new developer diary can be seen below….

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival takes players into the world of Pinhead and the other Cenobites, where they will face a brand-new story that will put them in a fight against cultist worshippers, deviants, and monstrosities.

Players take the role of Aidan, a young man who wants to manipulate the powers of the mysterious Genesis Configuration puzzle box to save his girlfriend from Hell. Using an assortment of mysterious supernatural abilities and a variety of weapons, players will venture into the darkest depths of the underworld to rescue Aidan’s girlfriend from the depraved Cenobites.

This latest developer diary looks at how the developers have looked through all the lore of this horror icon and how they went about capturing the heart of what made Hellraiser so gripping to make a game that would meet the expectations of fans.

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will be heading to Xbox Series X|S, Playstation 5 and PC via Steam later this year. Fans of the Hellraiser universe can pre-order one of two special Collector’s Editions from Boss Team Games, that feature a variety of exclusive items.
