With Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe culminating with Avengers: Infinity War and the yet-to-be-titled Avengers 4, it has been expected that many of the new MCU faces will join Earth’s Mightiest Heroes including Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel. A movie that is being released in between the two however is Ant-Man and The Wasp starring Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, and the latter of the pair confirmed an appearance of Hope Van Dyne in Avengers 4.
“There’s an Avengers series coming out, its a two-parter,” she told Blastr about the future of the character. “The Wasp won’t be in the first part, she’ll be in the second part, because they really want to preserve that reveal for Ant-Man And The Wasp.”
“That reveal” is Lily putting on The Wasp costume that was teased in the post-credit sequence of Ant-Man. With Rudd already in the mix following Captain America: Civil War, its likely that Scott Lang will be a part of Avengers: Infinity War before his partner joins the fray in Avengers 4.
