Dark fantasy Warm Snow coming to consoles this October

September 29, 2023 by Andrew Newton

Microids and Bilibili Games have announced they will be releasing their hit PC rogue-lite action title Warm Snow on consoles on 20th October.  Since the game’s arrival on Steam last year it has earned  over 25,000 Very Positive ratings, 3 awards and over 2,000,000 sales on PC and mobile.  A new trailer can be seen below……

Warm Snow takes players to a world inspired by Chinese folklore, and sadly one where a strange snow that doesn’t melt has settled over the land.  This ‘Warm Snow’ makes the world spiral into chaos as innocent people are turned into monsters who then roam the land causing destruction.

Taking the role of the mysterious wandering warrior Bi-An, players will set out on a journey across the land to restore balance and harmony once more.  Players will need to free the five houses that once protected the world from corruption, discover the secret behind the warm snow and end the chaos.

Featuring:

  • A rich exotic world inspired by Chinese folklore, its legendary creatures and breathtaking environments.
  • Near endless replay value where players can explore the game over and over again to learn the secret behind the warm snow.
  • A dynamic rogue-lite game where players can choose their weapons, powers and elements to suit their fighting style.
  • The inclusion of the Ash of Nightmare content with new mechanics, new items, skills, weapons and more.
  • An art style inspired by the beautiful silk paintings from the far-east.

Warm Snow will be available for Playstation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on 20th October.
