David Robert Mitchell’s new film with Ewan McGregor and Anne Hathaway titled Flowervale Street

March 31, 2024 by Ricky Church

After casting Ewan McGregor (Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Anne Hathaway (Interstellar) in his new film, David Robert Mitchell’s new film has been given a title and release date.

Flowervale Street will star McGregor and Hathaway in the lead roles in a film described as “a family adventure set in the 1980s involving dinosaurs.” No other plot details have been given, but McGregor and Hathaway are said to be a married couple with kids in the film. The film’s release date is May 16th, 2025 on regular theatre and IMAX screens.

Flowervale Street will be written by Mitchell, who has a busy schedule coming up as he prepares to shoot They Follow, the anticipated follow-up (no pun intended) to his breakout horror film It Follows.

Mitchell will produce alongside Bad Robot’s J.J. Abrams and Hannah Minghella with Matt Jackson of Jackson Pictures and Tommy Harper. Warner Bros. and Bad Robot will oversee the production.
