Day of the Dead TV series gets a first trailer from Syfy

Chucky isn’t the only horror franchise heading to Syfy, as the network has now released the first trailer for Day of the Dead. Described as an ode to legendary filmmaker George A. Romero, director of 1985’s Day of the Dead, the horror series follows six strangers as they trying to survive the first 24 hours of a zombie apocalypse; watch it here…

DAY OF THE DEAD follows a group of strangers trying to survive the first 24 hours of an undead invasion. This ode to George A. Romero’s famous flesh-eaters reminds us that sometimes all it takes to bring people together is a horde of hungry zombies trying to rip them apart.

Dead of the Dead premieres on Syfy this October.
