DC’s Creature Commandos sets December premiere on Max

September 10, 2024 by Gary Collinson

While next year’s Superman will kick off the new DC Universe proper, James Gunn and Peter Safran will first usher in the new era of DC Studios with the December premiere of the animated series Creature Commandos.

As announced by Max with the below poster, the series – written and executive produced by Gunn – is set to premiere on the Warner-owned streaming service on December 5th, with the first season of seven episodes arriving weekly through to January 16th.

The official logline for Creature Commandos reveals that the series will follow Task Force M, “a secret team of incarcerated monsters recruited for missions deemed too dangerous for humans. When all else fails… they’re your last, worst option.”
