Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania physical and special editions hit PlayStation and Nintendo Switch

A fantastic collaboration between Maximum Entertainment, Merge Games and Motion Twin has brought physical and special editions of the award winning rogue-lite platformer Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania to store shelves today for PlayStation 4&5 and Nintendo Switch. 

The standard retail edition for the Switch and Playstation will feature a reversible retro cover inspired by the NES and original Playstation eras.  The special Signature Edition includes a huge amount of goodies, including:

  • A Signature Edition collector’s box with unique outer sleeve
  • Standard copy of the game with retro reversible cover
  • Alternative disk soundtrack of the 28 original Castlevania tunes reimagined in a Dead Cells style
  • 4 enamel pin badges
  • An exclusive art book
  • A Lenticular castle card
  • 5 snapshot photos of the Beheaded in Castlevania
  • 4 Return to Castlevania postcards featuring printed signatures

Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania is a roguelite, action platformer that takes players through a sprawling, ever-changing castle where they will fight through 17 levels filled with enemies and secrets.  Players will have access to around 150 weapons and skills to help them fight the multitude of monstrous foes, plus there are 4 special powers that can unlock new areas. 

Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania is available in stores now for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and 5.
