The Dexter prequel series Dexter: Original Sin has released its first teaser trailer with the announcement of a December 13th premiere. From series creator Clyde Phillips, Original Sin will premiere on Paramount+ and follow Dexter Morgan in the early 1990s as he begins to follow his Dark Passenger while interning for the Miami PD. “Set in 1991, Miami, Dexter: Original Sin follows Dexter (Patrick Gibson) as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer. When his bloodthirsty urges can’t be ignored any longer, Dexter must learn to channel his inner darkness. With the guidance of his father, Harry (Christian Slater), he adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on law enforcement’s radar. This is a particular challenge for young Dexter as he begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department.”
The cast of Dexter: Original Sin includes Patrick Gibson as Dexter Morgan, Christian Slater as Harry Morgan, Patrick Dempsey as Aaron Spencer, Molly Brown as Debra Morgan, James Martinez as Angel Batista, Christina Milian as Maria LaGuerta, Alex Shimizu as Vince Masuka, Reno Wilson as Bobby Watt, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Tanya Martin, Joe Pantoliano as Mad Dog, Brittany Allen as Laura Moser, Randy Gonzalez as Santos Jimenez, Aaron Jennings as Clark Sanders, Raquel Justice as Sofia, Jasper Lewis as Doris Morgan, Carlo Mendez as Hector Estrada, Isaac Gonzalez Rossi as Gio, Roberto Sanchez as Tony Ferrer and Amanda Brooks as Becca Spencer with Michael C. Hall returning to voice the inner voice of Dexter.
