Disney announces TRON: Catalyst with reveal trailer

October 15, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Big Fan Games and developer Bithell Games have announced a new TRON game that takes players deep into the Grid. Disney TRON: Catalyst is a story-driven isometric action game that continues the Arq Grid storyline that was first introduced by Bithell Games in TRON: Identity. Watch the new announcement trailer below….

Disney TRON: Catalyst introduces players to the resilient and resourceful Exo, a program with an incredible ability to initiate time loops.  Using this tremendous new power, Exo will take on the overlords of the crumbling Grid but will need to avoid the vicious Conn, an evil agent of CORE.  Will she be able to gain control of her strange new powers and discover the mystery of the ‘Glitch’ that threatens to destroy the Grid.

As Exo, players will need to help her get control of the new abilities as they progress through a number of missions that will involve fighting on foot and on the iconic Light Cycles.  Players will also need to work their way around the many warring factions and discover new pathways that will help them uncover the secrets of the Arq Grid.

Look out for Disney TRON: Catalyst arriving on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC in 2025.
