Doctor Who: The Edge of Time VR game announced, watch the trailer here

PlayStack and developer Maze Theory have announced they will be bringing a fully interactive Doctor Who VR videogame to fans this September on PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest, HTC VIVE and the upcoming VIVE Cosmos.  Doctor Who: The Edge Of Time will take player on a feature length cinematic adventure.  To see more watch out the new trailer below…

Doctor Who: The Edge Of Time will see fans set out in the TARDIS on a feature length VR adventure into a universe filled with aliens and monsters.  Armed only with the Sonic Screwdriver, players will solve mind-bending puzzles, fight off the infamous Daleks and journey through stunning environments.  Players will need to use the TARDIS to travel through the galaxy to find the Doctor’s current incarnation, played by Jodie Whittaker, repair spacetime and save the universe.

Doctor Who is an incredibly exciting and timeless franchise with a passionate and committed global fan base. We are looking to give them an entirely new experience; an opportunity to team-up with the Doctor and feel like they are in the show. This of course includes piloting the TARDIS, a dream come true for fans!”
