Endless War update arrives for Dawn of War III tomorrow

October 18, 2017 by Andrew Newton

The 41st millennium is a rough old place, always someone waging war with someone else; well thanks to Relic Entertainment that war is going to continue for fans of their RTS Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III with the release of the Endless War update tomorrow (19th October).  This update includes new maps to fight over, new elites and new skins for existing units.  Take a look at the new trailer showcasing the update below…

Fans of Dawn of War III will gain three new Elite units in this update, with one for each race and each having their own special attacks and abilities.  These units are:

  • Wraithseer Kayduin – Possesses Warp Strike teleport ability, temporarily freezes opponents with Immolate and Wraith Shot that sees him temporarily summon several wraiths to shoot once.
  • Lifta Droppa – Has the Blast ‘Em ability which delivers a powerful shot and is excellent when surrounded and Grab ‘Em which can pick up units and throw them.
  • Ironclad Dreadnought – Seismic Slam can knock units off their feet, Assault Launchers which fire a volley of smaller missiles and Earth Shatter which delivers a devastating blow through the ground.

As well as new elites, this update also will deliver 5 new Elite skins to add variety to your troops.  These are Helmeted Kyre, Salamander Ironclad Dreadnought, Primaris Chaplain Diomedes, Deathwing Terminators and Deathwing Assault Terminators.

Finally, there will also be three new maps to fight over: the volcanic looking Shrine of Asuryan, the ruined city of Serpent Chasm and the Orkified industrial structure of Da Extraktor.

Remember to download the Endless War update for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III tomorrow.
