Ex Machina the big winner at 2015 Moet British Independent Film Awards

The 2015 Moet British Independent Film Awards took place in London tonight, with Alex Garland’s Ex Machina taking home four awards in Best British Independent Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay (Garland), and Outstanding Achievement in Craft (Visual Effects: Andrew Whitehurst).

In the acting categories, Saoirse Ronan (Brooklyn) and Tom Hardy (Legend) won Best Actress and Best Actor, while the supporting awards went to Olivia Colman (The Lobster) and Brendan Gleeson (Suffragette).
