October 4, 2024 by Ricky Church

Legendary actress Faye Dunaway has joined the cast of the supernatural thriller The Evilry. Per Deadline, she’ll star alongside Brec Bassinger (Stargirl) in the coming of age film.

The Evilry is written and directed by Alexander Garcia and will follow Bassinger’s Crystal, a young woman who visits her cousin, played by Elena Kampouris. Crystal discovers her cousin is harbouring a dark secret and attempts to uncover it.

Dunaway will play Anastasia, “a spiritualist in the town, who acts as a bridge of enlightenment coming to the aid of Crystal guiding her to the revelation behind her cousin and her Dark Secret.”

Dunaway has had a long and successful career with many iconic films and TV series attached to her name. She is most known for Chinatown, Bonnie and Clyde, Network, Ellis Island, the original Thomas Crown Affair and a small role in its 1999 remake. Most of the above films have garnered her several award nominations and wins at the Emmys, Golden Globes and Academy Awards.

The Evilry stars Brec Bassinger (Stargirl), Elena Kampouris (My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3), Billy Zane (The Phantom), Dylan Walsh (Superman & Lois), Marissa Reyes (Ganymede), Evan Ross (The Loneliest Boy in the World), Tony Pierce (The Bodyguard) and Teri Polo (Meet The Parents).
