If you were wondering how Willy Wonka got his start, the upcoming film’s latest trailer offers some delicious treats.
Wonka, set for release this December, just debuted its second trailer, showcasing more of Timothée Chalamet as the titular character as he begins his business in the cutthroat world of candy making.
We also get even more of a look at Hugh Grant’s turn as an Oompa Loompa, playing a wonderful sidekick for Chalamet’s Wonka adventures. Check out the new trailer below…
Wonka focuses on “a young Willy Wonka and his adventures before opening the world’s most famous chocolate factory” and explores the “vivid, mythical beginnings of the imaginative young inventor before he becomes the renowned scrumdiddlyumptious Mozart of chocolate.”
Wonka is directed by Paddington’s Paul King and features a stacked cast including Timothee Chalamet, Olivia Colman, Hugh Grant, Rowan Atkinson, Sally Hawkins, Keegan-Michael Key, Jim Carter, Mathew Baynton, Tom Davis, Simon Farnaby, Rich Fulcher, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Paterson Joseph, Calah Lane, Matt Lucas, Colin O’Brien, Natasha Rothwell, Rakhee Thakrar, and Ellie White.
Wonka is only in theaters on December 15th, 2023.
