February 1, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Pearl Abyss has announced that the final Open Beta for their open world fantasy action MMORPG Black Desert on Xbox One will take place from the 14th to 17th February.  During this time all players will be able to experience the game for free while helping developers prepare the final polish before he game’s launch on 4th March.  A new teaser trailer for the final beta can be seen below showcasing the more polished world that awaits in Black Desert.

Black Desert will feature skill based, real time large scale combat with Node Wars as well as a renowned character creation system that enables players to create a character that matches their playstyle perfectly.  Players will be able to enjoy next gen’ visuals with 4K Ultra HDR support for those with the Xbox One X.

Compared to the previous beta, players will notice many changes and additions, including quality of life changes and additional life skills such as trade and the central market.  All those who participate in the Final Open Beta will be awarded with a special title and those devout players who manage to reach level 30 will also receive a Calpheon chubby dog when the game releases in March.

“We’re just weeks away from the launch of Black Desert on March 4 and we can’t wait to let players experience the new content”, said Robin Jung, Chief Executive Officer at Pearl Abyss. “We’ve worked hard to incorporate the feedback and comments from the Xbox community to ensure the world of Black Desert is a living, breathing experience for players can truly immerse themselves.”
