Do you think Daredevil: Born Again lacks a few iconic characters of the Netflix era? With names like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage on fans’ minds, there’s another who wants to throw his name in the race. That’s Iron Fist, also known as Danny Rand!
Finn Jones was at a convention in Mexico and walked down memory lane but also looked towards a potential future. Per IGN, Jones spoke about his time in the Marvel Netflix universe and said he’d love another round as Danny Rand/Iron Fist.
The actor explains, “[There’s a] willingness for the fans to see that happen. There’s a lot of willingness for the fans to see that not happen as well. I’m very aware of the critiques of the character and my role in it. My response to that is like, give me a fucking chance, man. I’m here and I’m ready.”
He adds, “I want to prove people wrong. So I would love to see that happen.” Iron Fist was one the most critically hated of Marvel Netflix.
These comments follow Marvel’s Brad Winderbaum’s recent comments about bringing back Marvel Netflix characters, saying it’s “creatively extremely exciting” and something they are “very much exploring”.
