Ahead of its series premiere this Sunday, a fiery new promo has been released for HBO Max’s Game of Thrones spinoff House of the Dragon which gives us a new look at the Targaryens as they prepare for war, as well as their legendary dragons in action; watch it below…
Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, which is set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House Targaryen.
House of the Dragon features a cast that includes Paddy Considine (The Outsider), Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Olivia Cooke (Ready Player One), Emma D’Arcy (Truth Seekers), Rhys Ifans (The Amazing Spider-Man), Steve Toussaint (Small Axe), Sonoya Minuzo (Crazy Rich Asians), Eve Best (Nurse Jackie), and Graham McTavish (Outlander).

House of the Dragon will premiere on HBO on August 21st in the US, and on Sky Atlantic and NOW on August 22nd in the UK.
