First teaser trailer for Carnival Row starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne

June 4, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

Amazon Prime Video has released a first teaser trailer for the fantasy-noir series Carnival Row. Directed by Jon Amiel, it is based on Travis Beacham’s novel A Killing on Carnival Row and stars Orlando Bloom as a detective who embarks on a dangerous affair with a faerie (Cara Delevingne) while investigating a string of murders; watch it here…

Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne star in Carnival Row, a Victorian fantasy world filled with mythological immigrant creatures. Feared by humans, they are forbidden to live, love, or fly with freedom. But even in darkness, hope lives, as a human detective and a faerie rekindle a dangerous affair. The city’s uneasy peace collapses when a string of murders reveals a monster no one could imagine.

Carnival Row premieres on August 30th on Amazon Prime.
